We are now recruiting for a passionate Sales Executive to join our amazing team at Hilton Stockholm Slussen in Sweden.
Successful candidate will be responsible for seeking new business opportunities and expand existing business through strong relationships. It is crucial to liaise on a proficient and efficient level with all hotel departments and to leverage the collaboration with the international Hilton colleagues.
You will pro-actively be responsible and support on the growth of all corporate account portfolio and market share by attracting new business opportunities on a local and international level.
Analytical skill as well as drive and passion for people and customer service is a key to success in this role.
What will I be doing?
- Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify new business leads
- Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the specific hotel/cluster and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams
- Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients
- Work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities
- Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
- Build and strengthen our customer network, specifically with the transient/corporate segments
- Manage all local transient accounts together with Director of Sales and develop key sales strategies
- Social media and dgital selling of our products and services in several channels
- Work within current business strategies and recognising potential opportunities
- Work closely with other departments in order to identify unmanaged accounts and transient business
- Take part in marketing activities to attract customers on a local and international level
- Participate in sales calls, trade shows, workshops, host site inspections and develop sales activities
- Responsible for representing the hotel´s services and facilities to prospective clients
- Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Sales Director and management
- Follow all standard operations procedures set by Hilton at all times
- Seek, source and identify potential long stay projects
- Deliver and bring ideas of new activities for our loyalty program (Hilton Honors) to create awarness within the local market
- Analyze and set action plans how to influence TMC´s (Travel Management Companies) by Business Intelligence/Hotel Market Data & analysis tool
What are we looking for?
A Sales Executive serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Experience in a sales role with a proven track record
- Minimum 1 year´s sales experience, preferably within the hospitality and travel industry
- A degree in sales, marketing or similar
- Good ability to analyse figures to set strategies
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both verbal and written
- Good ability to structure, prioritize and follow up and has high integrity
- Work in line with Hilton values at all time
