A bit about us
Zound Industries design, develop, manufacture and sell lifestyle electronics for the global market. The company was founded in 2008 and launched its first product in December 2009. Our own brands Urbanears, Molami and Coloud as well as licensed brand Marshall, currently reside in this incubator, each with a distinct personality intended to serve a specific target audience. Zound Industries claims the fashion statement in the CE business; to make electronics fashionable and fashion electronic. Zound Industries’ products are sold in more than +120 markets and today we have approximately 150 employees in Sweden (HQ), France, US and China.
What we´re looking for
We’re now looking for a self-organized, engaging and quick thinking Event Assistant to support the Global Event Manager of Zound Industries. In this position you will work in a fast-paced environment where one day is not like the other. About you
In order to succeed as a Event Assistant you must act as a great team player with attention to details. You like to get things done and you are always one step ahead. We also expect you to be super service minded, self-driven and reliable. As administration is an extremely important part of your work, it’s necessary that you have structure and organization skills in your DNA. You have an excellent ability to communicate with all different kind of people – actually you are probably to be considered as a social genius. You are able to juggle a multitude of tasks – some with very short notice. Last but not least, you’re a non-prestigious and humble person who understands that running a fast-growing company means you have to get your hands dirty.
We believe that you have at least two years of working experience within service, coordination, administration or similar. As Zound Industries is a diverse and global company, we see that you have excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Swedish.
Your tasks
As a Event Assistant, your area of responsibility will be highly varied and you will independently drive and coordinate a wide range of assignments. The day-to-day work will entail coordination, preparation, translation, bookings and research. This along with the onsite work at events, such as keeping in contact with external partners, picking up and delivering props and such to the events, making sure everything runs on schedule and doing lifting and setup/teardown. You will be assisting the Event Manager in all different kind of matters, where your responsibility is to make sure that everything is in order and runs smoothly and efficiently.
