The Event Coordinator will be based in Stockholm, Sweden and will be primarily responsible for the management and coordination of numerous programs and events across the Nordic countries. There will also be a requirement for the Event Coordinator to support other events across Europe as needed.
The Event Coordinator will be responsible for the various programs and events, including the following: sales presentations, client meetings, internal meetings; associate, corporate and family events, reference activity and tradeshows. In supporting the execution of these programs and events, the Event Coordinator would be ensuring that the planning and delivery of these programs and events provides a consistent Cerner experience for clients and fellow associates.
Other responsibilities include:
Coordinate programs and events through multiple stages to successful completion, including: creating detailed project plans and event strategy, executing project-related tasks, and accomplishing defined deliverables while meeting project deadlines
Communicates with internal and external stakeholders to represent Cerner
Manage event planning and logistics from beginning to end, including: venue sourcing, review and selection; arrangement of catering, entertainment, transportation and lodging, as applicable; event setup and utilisation of experiential spaces; audio-visual; and event materials including internal briefing documents, agenda, evaluation form, as applicable
Provide onsite support, including hosting, coordination and execution pre-, during and post-event
Create financial plan estimates, negotiate services that optimise Cerner’s financial terms, and meet financial plan set for event
Generate post-event outcomes reporting and analytics
Performs other responsibilities as needed

Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, management, hospitality or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
At least 3 years of event and project coordination work experience
Preferred
Additional language skills: Norwegian and Finnish
