Job Summary
As Project Manager for Global Marketing Communication, you are responsible for the planning and execution of marketing communication projects – such as exhibitions, conferences, customer activities and integrated marketing communication programs – to support the strategic direction of SMT and PA Tube globally. Identifying, analyzing and prioritizing all forms of live marketing communication events are important parts of your work, and you align all marketing touch points with Sandvik’s brand strategy and support the enhancement of our brand awareness in the market. You are responsible for the execution and reporting of results with regard to the annual marketing communication plan and you ensure budgets are followed and a high quality level is maintained. You are also a key player in building competence, identifying and carrying out new ways of working and you are accountable for content implementation and adaption of global marketing material. Additionally, you handle third party management, find opportunities to reach new potential clients and maintain close follow-up with our sales force.
International travel is part of your job.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s in Communication, Marketing, or Project or Event Management. A minimum of three years’ experience in a marketing communications function and skills in project management, strategy work and positioning are required. You have previously worked in a business-to-business environment, managing global events, exhibitions, conferences or other customer activities, and you are experienced in handling and establishing relations with third party suppliers. You have great leadership capabilities and know how to manage cross-functional project teams, and you are a skilled user of Microsoft Office and SharePoint, while basic knowledge of Photoshop is advantageous. As we act on the global scene, you must have excellent skills in English, both speaking and writing, whereas skills in Swedish are beneficial.
